Hi, I'm Sydnie Schira.
Motion & UX/UI Designer
I turn complex products and big ideas into clear, engaging motion. I've spent over four years animating interfaces, explainers, and brand stories with a UX designer's eye for how people actually use things.

Learning Rive
An interactive icon set and web page built while learning Rive.
Be the Ice Sculptor
A character animation piece: an ice sculptor and their chainsaw, built from storyboards for School of Motion's Principles of Animation.

A little about me
I'm a motion designer and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program, where I studied graphic design. My background in UX/UI, from co-ops and from my work since, keeps me designing motion around the person using it.
Outside of work, you'll find me at the gym, currently training for a Hyrox competition in May 2027, or at home with my boyfriend, our cat and our Rottweiler, who is 100 pounds, still growing, and fully convinced she's a lap dog!
